Storm Runner @ Hershey Park

I didn't go on Storm Runner. Theron and I went on it when we came last year, but I didn't enjoy it. I don't like the "shoot 'em off" coasters much. I only like taking off fast when I'm driving my Mustang!! haha Theron and TJ rode...you can see Theron in this video..third from the front...and TJ is beside him, but ya can't see him from this view. It came out dark on the blog, but is much brighter on my computer. :)

Fall Window

I really do love the Fall. The colors are so pretty. I was sitting on our love seat today and looked up and noticed how pretty it looked out of our window. So, I went and got my camera and snapped a picture of the view. Autumn is beautiful!!

Biden in Disguise?

Is this Joe Biden trying to infiltrate a Palin rally? He was standing behind me and kept watching me taking pictures. If you aren't sure who I'm talking about...look at the guy in the blue jacket to the left. haha

Sarah Palin Rally

I have never been to a political rally, but my friend, Hope and I went today. We had a lot of fun, even though it started raining soon after Sarah Palin began her speech. We arrived at Williams Street around 915, and got in a long line waiting to get into the park when the gates opened at 10. It was very crowded, and so after going through security, we stood for a looong time. It was a great experience, though, and I'm so glad I went. I took tons of pictures and here are a few. We had pretty good spots, but it was very close quarters. Sarah began talking around 1 p.m. She is a great speaker, and made some great points. Her husband, Todd, the First Dude, was there, too. It was very enlightening, and was an exciting, but tiring day. We were cold and soaked after it was over, so we went to Choi's Korean Kitchen and had some coffee and wonderful food. Choi's is the best. When I got home...around 430, I went straight upstairs and took a long hot bubble bath. Just what my cold bones needed. :) Thanks, Hope, for a great day!!
Don't forget to Get Out and Vote next Tuesday!! It is VERY important to make your voice heard. If you don't vote, you can't complain.

The very long line...but I shopped as there were buttons to buy and a really cute Tee Shirt. One of the signs Notice the sharp shooter lookouts on the building

EWWW Don't View While Eating

Zoo America is usually closed after dark, but they opened it for Hershey Park in the Dark...duh...and even let us use flashlights to peek into the animals' enclosures. Then, we came to the Skat-Hut. On these plates are different animals' feces or species' feces. haha Like I said, Eww! Karen, did this make you laugh? I just couldn't believe they did this, so had to take pictures. haha

Hershey Park in the Dark Night Two

We didn't get to go to Hershey Park until around 8 p.m. on Saturday night. It rained and rained and rained some more all day long. Theron, being the wonderful husband that he is, took me shopping all day, so the day was not a total loss!! We finally went to Chocolate World, then into the park. It was pretty empty, so we rode our favorite rides over and over (Great Bear & Lighting Racer). It was SO much fun, and we laughed a lot!!

This is usually the Lightning Racer, but for Hershey Park in the Dark, they rename all of the rides to Halloween-type names. Thus, Wicked Racer. It is a good, old-fashioned wooden roller coaster, that goes pretty fast!!

Beautiful, aren't we? HA HA This is our self portrait that I took as we sat at the front of the Wicked Racer. It is so much fun in the front seats!

Here we are waiting to get into the front car...after about two other times of riding in other spots on the coaster...thus the weird hairdos.

Sam sat in the front car on the other coaster. TJ sat in the seat behind her. They run side by side, thus the Lightning Side and the Thunder Side. I think My and Theron's side won this time.

Another time riding..TJ two seats in front of us.

In the next to the back seat....

Getting ready to leave the park for the last time this season.

Hershey's new coaster...the Farenheit. I didn't ride it, because I wanted to see if Theron thought I'd like it. He said I would, but then we never got to ride it again. Theron, TJ and Sam did ride it our first night. It was closed our second night because of all of the rain.

Me and my honey, thanks, Theron, for spoiling me so much!! We plan on heading back without the kids in May when they reopen for the weekends.

Hershey Park in the Dark Night One

Theron and I were needing our Hershey Park fix, so we loaded TJ and Sam and all our stuff in the car and headed for PA. We made it in around 4 hours, and would have been here quicker, but there was a big accident or something on one of the main roads heading to our hotel and Hershey, so we had to find a new route around all the traffic. We got to the park around 5:30. Here are a few pictures from our evening, and we'll have more tomorrow if we don't get rained out. We LOVE this park. It is very clean and not crowded at all. We forgot Flat Mary and Flat Chrissy at home, sorry girls!! I'm trying to figure out how to make some stand-ins while we are here, though. Our hotel has a business center, so it just might work!!

Bucs Game

Our sweet niece-in-law, Natalie, sent me some pictures from the Bucs game on Sunday. Both of our teams won on Sunday... the Bucs and the Rays.

Delaney, our great niece, at a petting zoo! She's a cutie!
They must have shown the Red Sox and Rays game now and then, on the big screens, as Natalie took this from the stadium.
Our sweet great nephew, Blake, at the Bucs game with his mom and dad. Isn't he adorable?

Miscellaneous Fall Pics

Here are a few pictures I have taken over the past few weeks. The Weavers came to see Sue Cox, Michelle's sister, a few times over the past weeks, as her time on Earth was coming to a close. Sue went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 10th. Sue was a lot of fun and always made me laugh. She was my "24" buddy, as we both enjoyed watching that show. I will miss her, but know that she is with our Heavenly Father now and her pain is gone. Please pray for her husband, Chuck, daughter, Stephanie, and son, Tommy, as well as other family members.Samantha & Kristen eating breakfast with Flat Mary and Flat Chrissy
