Here is a painting on some of the bluffs near the river. The Indians did it a very long time ago. Wish I knew more about it...some of my Illinois relatives will have to comment on here to help me. :)
We went into Alton to shop at some antique stores on our way to Aunt Wanda's to see all of our other relatives. This is a memorial and we weren't supposed to be up on the platform. It was just too much to resist,though.
Jo and Cindy actually started it...then Lisa and I followed suit. :)
