A Day at Siesta Key Beach

We arrived at Jo's house in Sarasota on Sunday evening and had a great dinner! Then, on Monday, Jo & Michelle played hooky and we all headed to the beach. Kara came down from her house and brought her two sweeties and went with us. We had a wonderful day!

Beautiful day, but toward the end of the afternoon the storm clouds started rolling in.

Wow, a news van. Hopefully they weren't there reporting on the sharks. haha

They are so cute, and were so well behaved the whole day.

We weren't sure what to do with our leftover fries from lunch, so Michelle wanted to feed the birds. The seagulls are such scavengers they will actually grab food out of your hand as you are trying to eat. We call them roach birds.
Anyway, it took just a few minutes and they found Michelle.
Right after this picture they actually did descend on her head and took the food.
