Theron had some meetings in Savannah, so we stopped there first for a few days. I have always loved Savannah (we lived there back in the early 90's), so I didn't mind working for a few days during our getaway!

These are out of order, but this is our car...packed to the hil....for just the two of us, however, in my defense, we were packing for over 2 weeks worth of travel and in about 3 different climates! :) Theron didn't even make any cracks about my packing. He is awesome and very patient!
We went antiquing one day and found this. We were going to buy it, but it was $19.95! The tag says, "No Guarantee". haha
Traveling through Atlanta...we don't like that city much, but it's never boring!

My honey, ain't he cute? :) And he's all mine! I am blessed.
Me, and I have no idea why I am standing like my back hurts. haha
Our little kitchen in the cabin. It had everything we needed!
One of my favorite spots in the whole place.
We arrived at the cabin late afternoon, Thursday, March 31st. It is a really nice cabin, but not "secluded" as they described it online. It is big, though, and well maintained.
Looking down from the top deck out back.
We walked up the road a bit to the pond. There were some geese swimming along.
Timer taken...best we could do by the creek.
The first couple of days were pretty chilly so Theron kept the fire going in the fireplace.

On our quest up the lane looking for the lost town and waterfalls
The view downstream from where I was standing on that rock.
This is the creek further up the mountain.
This is where we needed to cross over, but the water was just a little too deep near the other side for the Highlander. We didn't want to chance getting stuck in the water. We would have had to cross it like this another time or two to get where we needed to go to see the old town and waterfalls.
Part of the creek further down the mountain on our way to town.
Downtown Blue Ridge, GA
I was so thrilled to see the sun out and the flowers blooming!!
This corner cafe was where we ate lunch. It was a wonderful meal!! Their Tomato Soup and Deluxe Cheese Sandwich (Theron) and Chicken Salad Croissant and Pasta Salad (me) were the best we've had in awhile.

I'd love the Cabin info!!! Does it belong to a friend, or is it a cabin that anyone can rent? FB me if you have time...and thanks!
