Bruce's Father's Day Weekend Begins

My sister, Lisa, thinks like I do. If your birthday falls on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday you get a Birthday Weekend. So, of course, Mother's Day and Father's Day, are not just celebrated on Sunday, they are a weekend thing!! So, Lisa and Bethany made Bruce a neat cake for dessert today. She shared this picture with me, so I am posting it here.

Remembering Karl Weaver

As most of you know, our great friend, Karl Weaver, went to be home with our Lord on Monday, June 9th. He was a great man of God who loved his family and enjoyed serving the Lord. Karl was a gentle, sweet man. He adored and respected his wife, Michelle. Theirs was a love that is rare in this day and age. Karl loved their 5 kids, too. He was a wonderful dad.

I don't have a lot of pictures of Karl, but have a few from our 2nd camping trip with the Weavers and Bryans back in 2005. Everyone who knew Karl refers to him as "the sweetest man I've ever known." Please keep Michelle and the kids in your prayers as they adjust to life without Karl. TJ Trickster

TJ loves doing photography stuff. Today while the Bryans and Theron and I went to lunch TJ, Johnny, Joey, Mary and Chrissy attended Kenneth Nasse's Graduation Party. They took these pictures of TJ "holding" Johnny and Nina. I think they did a rather good job. I hope they do some more like this as I think it looks so neat. :) See, you have fun with your kids even when they are teenagers! haha They are still rather entertaining.
